In the end, all she wanted was to see them successful and fulfilled, but she couldn’t fully understand what was best for them and chose the wrong approach. What this type of parents fail to see is that they’re driving their kids away from home and are, sometimes, the cause of depression. Ambition is good, but there are borders to everything. We are all different, our destinies are different and no one should force us to choose another way in life. After all, we only get one chance in life. Hamlets Flaw What is Hamlet's flawNor to any one is he known to have defect. No one ever ventures to speak of him slightingly or critically. Why does not the King, Laertes, or Fortinbras despise him for a scholar and a dreamer, at least, instead of taking him as they all do for the worthy son of his warrior sire? Why does not the Queen once sigh, or Horatio sadly shake his head? He is a courtier, soldier, scholar, the expectancy and rose of the fair state, cries Ophelia, and there is no suggestion that she is saying it as one who does not know. It is the accepted opinion. The king fears him, and he shrinks form bringing him to account for Polonius' death, he says because of the great love the general gender bear him. This sinful Queen quails under his rebuke, and yet loves him too well to betray his confidence. And as often in Shakespeare's tragedies, at the end of the play judgment to the same effect is pronounced on his character by a disinterested party.? Was Hamlet out of his mind, or was he pretending to be crazy? Did anyone realize what Hamlet's dilemma, such as Ophelia, the King, and the Queen? What was his delay? Could it be that Hamlet was not so much afraid of killing the king, but hurting his mother, mentally, emotionally, after the death of her King and her abrupt marriage to Claudius. Was Hamlet afraid, that maybe the ghost of his father wasn't really his father's ghost at all, in that it was a trick of the devil? Hamlet's over analysis is what turns out to be the reason for so many deaths, including his own. His procrastination kills not only himself, but also his mother, his girlfriend, and others, but it also leaves the reader full of doubt. Of course the average reader is aware that Hamlet will kill the new king, but was it necessary to have so many deaths due to one mans uncertainty? Yes, his father, the king, was killed by his own brother, Hamlet's uncle, and at seems as quickly as he died, he queen was re-married just as quickly. More often than not, Hamlet questions himself, his goal, his reason for being alive, but for every question came an opportunity to kill Claudius and he didn't. Hamlet, undoubtedly was confused, and probably scared, but the key question here is, was he in his right mind? Was he stable enough to attempt such a deed as to kill his king without questioning his every thought, reason, and his judgment of himself. Opinions vary on this question, but from a reasonable, and rational point of view, the Hamlet presented to me was not a person of sound mind, in fact, probably insane to the point of a breakdown, simply because of the amount of time in which these events occurred. ? Eating out essays THE HARD ROCK CAFÉ is a restaurant located near the design district in Dallas, Texas. Few other restaurants surround this one of a kind eatery, making it a great choice for lunch for those who work nearby. Before entering this restaurant, one must ascend a flight of stairs which leads up to an outdoor eating area. On a nice day when this area is full, it can give others a chance to peak at a full table of food and get an idea of what they want to eat. Upon entering the building from outside, the bar, in the shape of an electric guitar, is directly to the left, allowing customers who are in a hurry to pull up a seat and get busy ordering. At this point of entry is where the host welcomes everyone to the restaurant. A lowered dining level conceals the entrance from the guests and allows them to enjoy their environment more readily. A stage is placed at the back of the facility for display. The use of carpet softens that area and invites patrons to take pictures with Elvis. Fluted columns behind the stage add a classical look to the room. The main dining area is dimly lit and the light wood floors makes it easy to move seating around without showing to much damage from the chair and table legs. The use of hard wood floors in this area makes it easier for the staff to keep the restaurant clean. The dark wood tables stand out in the restaurant against the lighter wood used on the floor. The dome situated two levels above the main dining area is painted with clouds and gives the feelings of being outdoors. This could resemble an oculus that allows light in during the day. A second level balcony allows one to eat while enjoying the concert below. JOES CRAB SHACK is a restaurant geared toward the entertainment of people; much like the Hard Rock Caf. Thoreau contends that men have lost the free will to make individual decisions regarding war, slavery, and domestic issues because government imposes on its citizens only in its own self interests. (Thoreau 1706). He states government loses its integrity when willing to consider profit over the interests of its citizens, and basic human rights such as slavery and war. (Thoreau 1707). He feels idealism, individualism and democracy are not achievable in a society willing to maintain slaves. (Eulau 123). He is obsessed with right, t ruth and justice for all citizens and encourages nonviolent resistance as the means to effectively abolish slavery. (Eulau 124).
